A letter signed by five former Attorney Generals has urged the RCMP to criminally investigate the alleged political interference in the SNC-Lavalin affair.
The letter comes only a day after Jody Wilson-Raybould testified before the Justice Committee and maintained that she was pressured by members from the Trudeau government to interfere in the criminal charges against SNC-Lavalin.
Among those who signed the letter were Peter MacKay- Minister of Justice of Canada (2013-2015), Douglas Grinslade Lewis- Minister of Justice of Canada (1989-1990), Jonathan Denis - Minister of Justice of Alberta (2012-2015) and Cecil Clarke - Attorney General of Nova Scotia (2007-2009).
