"Stop The Steal" organizer and right-wing political activist Ali Alexander said he organized the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill protests alongside several Arizona Congressmen in a now deleted Twitter video, AZ Central reports.
While the mass of Trump supporters were storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, Ali posted a video in which he reportedly said, "I don't disavow this. I do not denounce this."
Alexander reportedly told his followers on Periscope in late December that he, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), were planning something big, a CNN investigative report said. The report specifically notes that Ali did not call for violence.
The report added that Ali told his supporters in the video that the protests were organized "to build momentum and pressure and then on the day change hearts and minds of Congress peoples who weren't yet decided or who saw everyone outside and said, 'I can't be on the other side of that mob.'"
Independent journalist Jason Paladino also pointed out Ali's implication of the GOP congressmen in Jan. 6's events, quoted Ali on Twitter who said, "with congressman Gosar, Brooks and Biggs. We four schemed up putting maximum pressure on congress while they were voting..."
A spokesperson for Rep. Biggs responded to the CNN report on the Congressman's behalf, "Congressman Biggs is not aware of hearing of or meeting Mr. Alexander at any point -- let alone working with him to organize some part of a planned protest. He did not have any contact with protestors or rioters, nor did he ever encourage or foster the rally or protests."
The other two Congressmen have not yet commented on the allegations of their involvement.
Representatives Biggs and Gosar were both vocal advocates of the election fraud narrative headed by President Trump and his legal team.
Both voted against certifying the electoral votes in Congress on Jan. 6.
