Four suspects are in custody after a Cambridge, Ontario bank robbery, CP24 reports. On Wednesday afternoon, around 3 p.m., Waterloo police responded to the robbery of a Scotiabank branch in Cambridge. Suspects fled the branch in a vehicle and proceeded towards a highway exit. The amount of money they took is unknown.
Four individuals have been arrested and charged with Robbery with a Firearm and Disguise with Intent in connection to a bank robbery at Scotiabank in Cambridge.

Waterloo Police quickly notified the OPP and a wild pursuit took place along Highway 401 east from Cambridge to Mississauga. One OPP officer was admitted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a collision occurred with the suspects vehicle.

The suspects vehicle was found after being abandoned in the parking lot of a St. Joseph's Secondary School. The suspects ditched the car after they collided with a tree.
Ontario Provincial Police worked together with Peel police to track and eventually bring the suspects in. The four suspects have been charged with Robbery with a Firearm and Disguise with Intent. It is unknown if further charges will be announced.

The investigation continues with Waterloo police, Peel police and the OPP. They believe there are no more suspects involved.
