Biden administration says federal contractors should gradually fire unvaccinated employees

"Removal occurs only after continued noncompliance," the page says.

If you're a federal contractor, the official guidelines stipulated by the US government dictate they'll kick you out the door slowly rather than immediately, if you don't comply with getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

Today it's being reported that the Biden administration is being more subtle with the earlier notion of "get vaxxed or you're fired" impression that President Joe Biden left after his Sept. 9 speech mandating COVID-19 vaccines in both the public and private sectors. The federal government's corporate vaccine mandate applies to all employers with 100 or more employees.

The response in question can be found on the Safer Federal Workforce website under the "Compliance" section:

"A covered contractor should determine the appropriate means of enforcement with respect to its employee at a covered contractor workplace who refuses to be vaccinated and has not been provided, or does not have a pending request for, an accommodation. This may include the covered contractor using its usual processes for enforcement of workplace policies, such as those addressed in the contractor’s employee handbook or collective bargaining agreements."

In a Sunday report by POLITICO, they say trucking companies like the American Trucking Associations might simply choose not to work with the federal government anymore given these contractor guidelines.

It's further stipulated in the rules that the managing entity for the contractor employee in question can refuse entry into the workplace. An additional "NEW" section under the "Compliance" header confirms that management should terminate a contractor if they don't comply with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

As for the private sector, it was announced that the Office of Management and Budget completed their review of the emergency rules mandating private businesses with over 100 employees to require the jab, or test them weekly.

However these OSHA rules are separate from what's within the federal government's direct employment purview.

This story comes in the wake of many vaccine mandates coming to pass for America's public workforce. Both the Seattle Fire Department and New York Fire Department have experienced "staffing issues" in recent days. In the case of the latter situation, 9,000 NYC employees are said to now be on unpaid leave as New York City Mayor de Blasio's COVID-19 mandate takes effect.

A recent NBC News poll indicates that 71 percent of Americans believe the country is heading in the wrong direction.

In the weeks following the mandate announcement, unvaccinated black voters distanced themselves from approving of the Biden White House.
