BLM mob shoot at Wisconsin cop and physically assault him

Protestors allegedly shot at a black police officer while chanting “black lives matter” in Wisconsin on Saturday night, reports The Blaze.

Joseph Mensah, a Wauwatosa officer posted to Facebook saying that protestors “tried to kill me."

"I was unarmed and tried to defend my property and the property of my girlfriend. We were both assaulted, punched, and ultimately shot at several times. A shotgun round missed me by inches," he said. "Not once did I ever swing back or reciprocate any of the hate that was being directed at me. I am all for peaceful protests, even against me, but this was anything but peaceful.”

"They threw toilet paper in her trees, broke her windows, and again, shot at both of us as they were trying to kill me. There are children that live there and they knew that. The irony in all of this is that they chanted Black Lives Matter the entire time, but had zero regard for any of the black children that live there or me, a black man."

Mensah shot and killed three people in the last five years while serving as an officer. Earlier this year he shot a 17-year-old, and the other shootings which took place in 2015 and 2016 were previously ruled justified. In July, Mensah was suspended for the fatal shooting of Alvin Cole on Feb. 2.

The Cole case is still being reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, but the mayor of Wauwatosa called for Mensah to "transition from the Wauwatosa Police Department’s employment," according to Fox 6 Milwaukee.

Mensah was reportedly suspended with pay, and families of those who were fatally shot intend to take legal action.

According to Wauwatosa police, roughly 50 to 60 people gathered at his girlfriend's home in Wisconsin. There, they reportedly physically assaulted him and fired a single shotgun round into the house.

Protestors began vandalizing the home at about 8 p.m. and police say that Mensah was physically assaulted while he "attempted to establish a dialog."

The Journal Sentinel reported that when Mensah entered the home, "armed protesters approached the rear door and a single shotgun round was discharged by a member of the group into Officer Mensah's backdoor."

Scott Walker, the former Wisconsin Gov. referred to the incident as "domestic terrorism" on Sunday and added that officials "must take action"

Mensah says this is not the first time protestors have targeted him. He said that on July 27, 100 protestors arrived at his house.

"To call me a murderer, without any conviction, without any charges, and then to do something like this, again, I'm angry, I'm frustrated, I'm confused," he said.
