An Air India Express flight has crashed at Calicut’s Kozhikode International Airport leaving at least 15 dead and many injured, reports Global News.

The plane was allegedly flying from Dubai when, according to local reports, it skidded off the runway.

The aircraft appears to be split in two in pictures taken of the scene. A video from NDTV also appears to show ambulances at the scene.

According to The Times of India, there were at least 190 passengers aboard the plane.

The amount and severity of injuries is not completely clear though an Air India spokesperson said there are several passengers injured when speaking to Reuters.
