The Daily Wire's Matt Walsh held an event at Georgia Tech on Monday in the lead-up to the NCAA women's swimming championships this week, and was protested by left-wing activists who are in favor of allowing biological males to compete in women's sports.

Demonstrators brought signs and marched around. "Your ideology is killing children," said one demonstrator, while others said, "F*ck fascists! F*ck fascism!"

Another protester brought a sign that said, "Matt Walsh watches femboy furry porn."

Walsh announced the event on Twitter, saying that trans swimmer Lia Thomas, the biological male who identifies as a woman and competes on the women's swim team, would be competing "to appropriate more medals from the women."

Walsh has come under fire previously for writing a children's book on the issue of gender identity indoctrination, and has refused to back down on his understanding that biological sex is an innate and immutable condition.

Thomas has been winning awards in women's swimming, despite having been ranked lower than 400 when Thomas competed on the men's swimming team at UPenn before Thomas began taking cross-sex hormones in 2019.

Thomas would like to compete in the 2024 Olympics on behalf of the US women's swim team, according to a recent interview with Sports Illustrated.
