After the unceremonious firing via Twitter of Defense Secretary Mark Esper, CNN's Jake Tapper announced that FBI Director Christopher Wray and CIA Director Gina Haspell might be next to lose their jobs.
Tapper posted to Twitter that a senior administration official told CNN that Esper is worried for Wray's job, as well as that of CIA Director Gina Haspell.

Wray had originally declined to look into the troubling contents of Hunter Biden's laptop, reported on by the New York Post. The contents of this laptop were provided to the FBI back in December 2019, where it sat idly, and remained uninvestigated until the Post broke open the story in October.
Wray was called out by Republicans in Congress not just for ignoring the Hunter Biden laptop and the connections it allegedly showed between Hunter, Joe Biden, and Ukrainian energy company Burisma, but for downplaying Antifa, which Joe Biden has infamously called simply "an idea." The hashtag #firechristopherwray has trended on Twitter several times during 2020.
Prior to the election, it was assumed that Wray would be on the chopping block post election if Trump won, and it turns out that his termination wasn't up for negotiation, win or lose.
It was believed that were it not for the election, both Wray and Haspell would have been removed from the administration's inner circle prior to Nov. 3. It was reported that neither of them were trusted by the Oval Office.
Trump fired Mark Esper earlier on Monday, and replaced him with Christopher C. Miller, who was the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. Miller will now become Acting Secretary of Defense. Trump thanked Esper for his service.
...Chris will do a GREAT job! Mark Esper has been terminated. I would like to thank him for his service.
