U.S. President Donald Trump’s medical team says he could be discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as soon as Monday.
Trump was admitted to the center Friday after having been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. Doctors say he is doing well, and that if his state remains as good as it is, he could be out of the treatment center tomorrow.
"If he continues to look and feel as well as he does today, our hope is that we can plan for a discharge as early as tomorrow to the White House where he can continue his treatment course," Dr. Brian Garibaldi said.
Dr. Sean Conley cleared up questions surrounding Trump’s use of supplemental oxygen as part of his treatment, telling reporters that he had been given oxygen on Friday before being brought to Walter Reed.
