Minds announced that Eliza Bleu, who recently rose to notariety during a scandal involving the veracity of her story of her past and her attempts to censor those who posed questions about it online, has pulled out of live free speech event.

No reason was immediately given for the cancellation.

"Eliza Bleu has informed us that she will no longer be speaking at Minds Fest in Austin," they wrote simply on Twitter, noting that they "still have many great speakers including Bryan Callen, Peter Boghossian, Destiny, Jack Posobiec & many others, and live music presented by @basterecords, #MindsFest LIVE in Austin @ The Vulcan Saturday, April 15."

The live event, slated for April 15 at Austin’s storied Vulcan theater, will feature many notable names in the contemporary free speech movement, including Peter Boghossian, Daryl Davis, and Jack Posobiec.

Bleu, who was slated to appear, gained after speaking out about human trafficking, claiming that her empathy for the victims was based on her own experience having been trafficked. This quickly turned to notoriety when she used her purported victim status to censor others.

Notably, two prominent YouTubers were locked out of Twitter and numerous YouTube videos were censored.

Minds and Eliza Bleu did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
