Port Moody Police are responding to a bomb threat at a local elementary school. This news comes on the heels of another breaking story in the region. The RCMP are currently clearing our a Vancouver mall after unconfirmed reports of shots fired, as well as another alleged pipe bomb report at the nearby SkyTrain.
"We are on scene at Seaview Elementary with a report of a bomb threat. The school has been safely evacuated. No children, parents, or teachers are at risk. Please avoid the area at this time," the Port Moody Police said on Twitter.
Police in Metro Vancouver have closed down Metrotown Station due to “unconfirmed reports of a pipe bomb.” According to the Burnaby RCMP, there are also unconfirmed reports of shots being fired.
The RCMP say they have also closed Metrotown Station for unconfirmed reports of a pipe bomb. It is unclear if the three investigations are related.
