The official account for ICE, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has been deleted from Twitter as of Thursday. It's unclear as to why this has occurred, and the government website for the agency still shows a link to a Twitter account, only that account is is shown to not exist.
This seems to have been done in a rush.

ICE's actual .gov website still has a live link including a popup clarifying that you're heading to an external site to the @ICEgov Twitter account, which is gone.

The Biden team is planning to fully restore DACA, enact a 100-day freeze on deportations, limit ICE arrests, overturn green card restrictions and much more. @CBSNews.https://t.co/YTek3rt2z6
Trump's policies in many areas are at risk because he created them via executive order, and not through working with Congress to create binding legislation. Executive orders can be easily undone by a new executive, by using their own executive order.
Trump's border policies, specifically with regard to the nation's southern border with Mexico, have come under fire for separating parents from children as a means to deter illegal immigration. In the case of 545 children, their parents could no longer be located.
By 5 p.m. eastern time, ICE's Twitter account was back online.
We’re back! No hackers, no rogue employees. We had a technical glitch and we appreciate the Twitter team’s help in bringing us back online. Stay tuned here for more great news about the work that the men and women of ICE do every day to protect the homeland.
