A senior government source confirmed to the Toronto Sun's Brian Lilley that Ontario health officials are "not recommending a curfew at this time."

"There is no proposal for a curfew being presented to cabinet," Lilley tweeted.

This does not mean that a curfew is off the table for the long run. On Friday, Premiere Doug Ford said that "more extreme measures" would be considered if people continue to not follow "basic measures."

Ford will also be convening with his cabinet Monday night to discuss the implementation of new pandemic-related lockdown restrictions as coronavirus cases continue to rise across the province, CP24 reports.
