Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole addressed media before Thursday's Question Period, providing his reaction to news that the Supreme Court of Canada decided that the Trudeau carbon tax was legal.
"Let me be clear: Canada's Conservatives will repeal Mr. Trudeau's carbon tax. We will protect the environment & fight climate change—but we won’t be doing that by making the poorest Canadians pay," said O'Toole

Several other Conservative leaders reacted to the 6-3 split decision on Thursday, including Alberta's Jason Kenney and Saskatchewan's Scott Moe, with the former calling the decision "simply disappointing" and the latter saying the decision was "simply wrong."
