R&B singer R. Kelly has been found guilty of racketeering in a sex-trafficking trial, following nine hours of deliberations.

Kelly has been on trial in New York since August of this year, and still faces trials in both Illinois and Minnesota.

Kelly faced allegations of preying on young women, for as far back as the early 1990s.

Kelly pleaded not guilty to all charges, which included transporting women for the purpose of prostitution.

Nearly 50 witnesses were brought forward to offer their testimonies, including many who said that Kelly had abused them while they were underage, reports The New York Times.

Kelly now awaits sentencing. He has been in jailed for the last two years.
