A vehicle struck multiple people in Manhattan, New York Friday evening, according to the NYPD.
Seven people were injured. The driver is now in custody, according to NewsNation.

The FDNY says four of the injured sustained only minor injuries, while the other three were more serious.
A BLM protest spilled onto 3rd Av in Midtown. Protesters surrounded a car and a half dozen were hurt when they were struck. The driver remained on scene for questioning by the NYPD but is not in custody.
