A trans Black Lives Matter band performed live Saturday in front of the controversial Wi Spa in Los Angeles.
The spa has been the site of violent Antifa clashes with law enforcement, reporters documenting the protests, and street preachers who oppose the spa for allegedly allowing a transgender individual's male genitals to be exposed to women and girls in the spa's female section last month.
Trans non-binary punk bank Y.G.S.L.R.H. S.T.F.U.T. also known as "YOU GUYS SUCK LIKE REAL HARD. SHUT THE F— UP. THANKS." staged the "takeover performance for trans rights" outside the Wi Spa. "We must support and protect our trans siblings at all costs!!" the event's graphic for the "Queerpocalypse" reads.
"LA is our city, not the fascist's! QUEERS BASH BACK," the band wrote on Instagram while promoting the "protest performance." Queers Bash Back imagery is taken from the "Bash Back!" movement which "rejected heteronormative assimilation and stood for outright liberation." The band called all major politicians and LGBTQ organization who have not condemned or issued public statements about the Wi Spa protests "transphobes."
Band member Chella Isabel Marie Coleman, a self-described "disabled poor fat blaq trans woman," has raised money for themselves several times on GoFundMe in order to "survive." The most recent crowdfunding campaign created four days ago by Coleman has raised hundreds of dollars from multiple donors.
Another page was created in August 2020 to help Coleman "survive through" the COVID-19 pandemic. More than $35,000 was raised for Coleman then.
Coleman had promoted the "Trans Day of Vengeance" on Nov. 20, 2020, in Echo Park where the band performed in recognition of Transgender Awareness Week.
Meanwhile, a marauding mob of up to 100 Antifa militants had vandalized over two dozen businesses on the "Trans Remembrance Day" in Portland.
Wi Spa, a Koreatown health club, became the center of controversy after a female customer confronted spa staff about a trans woman with male genitals being permitted to disrobe in the spa's women section. The viral confrontation was caught on camera, fueling online discourse with threats of a boycott against the spa. Antifa groups have been framing the incident as a matter of trans rights—opposed to the rights of "cisgender" females to not be exposed to male anatomy.
Five women have filed reports with the Los Angeles Police Department regarding the infamous June 23 incident at Wi Spa, in which all claim to have seen male genitals exposed in the women's section, Los Angeles magazine reported.
One of the reports states that a woman "observed [the suspect] exit a jacuzzi fully nude. Victim observed male genitals on the suspect and became scared and upset."
Antifa accounts on Twitter have rallied behind the biological male by staging direct action events that ran counter to the weekend demonstrations outside the Wi Spa.
Antifa militants assaulted demonstrators, people of color, and journalists at the first protest on July 3 outside the Los Angeles spa. A young man was tackled to the ground and beaten by Antifa assailants, a woman was sliced with a knife, and a religious protester was smashed over the head with a skateboard and left bloodied.
A mix of religious protesters and feminist activists arrived again outside the Wi Spa on July 17, calling for the protection of women-only spaces. The South West chapter of the Youth Liberation Front (SW YLF) had also announced another round of direct "Anti-Transphobia" action that Saturday. "Round two mother f—kers," the Antifa account tweeted to rally comrades to "Smash Fascism." An Antifa activist had shoved a skateboard in someone's face while an Antifa ally claimed that trans women have the "right" to be in biological women's private spaces.
It has since been revealed that a woman brought her six-year-old daughter to Wi Spa more than one year ago only to have her child exposed to a naked biological male in the women's-only hot tub. She recounted the jarring experience in a YouTube video and in an exclusive interview with The Post Millennial.
