Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Minister of Inclusion, Diversity, and Youth Bardish Chagger told the Ethics Committee on Tuesday that the WE Charity has not returned funds it had received for the cancelled programs.

Chagger said that, while the program is no longer running, the money has not been returned to the government.

"We want to ensure that all processes are being followed, so I can assure you that the public service is working with the organization that it is returned," said Chagger.
