Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told Canadians on Tuesday that the inflow of vaccines would be enough to get all Canadians fully vaccinated by September.
"A one-dose summer sets us up for a two-dose fall, when we'll be able to talk about going back to school, back to work, and back to more normality," Trudeau said.
"If case numbers are down and if over 75% of people get vaccinated, we can have a summer that will be much better for everyone," says PM Trudeau as he hopes for a "one-dose summer" and a "two-dose fall" with eased restrictions.#cdnpoli | #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/IXGCaQ0762

"We're going to be able to have enough doses so that we can have a one-dose summer, which will set us up for a two-dose fall, which will be much, much better. But everyone needs to do their part," he said.
Trudeau said that public health measures could not be eased until cases dropped, once again repeating that a one-dose summer would mean having friends over, and having barbecues.
Literally every day local small businesses in my riding are receiving booking requests from US customers who have been fully vaccinated with both shots. What does PM Trudeau's "one-dose summer" mean to Canadian small business owners in this situation?

Canada is expected to receive millions of doses of Pfizer, Moderna, and AztraZeneca by the end of June.
