President Donald Trump cut the White House press conference short today after a question from CBS News journalist Weijia Jiang regarding testing numbers.
Trump responded, Jiang, a Chinese-American reporter, who asked why he boasts about America's testing compared to other countries. Jiang said it's not a competition and Americans are dying: "Why does [the number of tests] matter? Why is this a global competition to you if Americans are still losing their lives, and we're still seeing cases every day."

Trump responded that people were losing their lives all over the world, and that it was a question better suited for China.
When Trump was asked by Jiang why he gave that answer to her specifically, Trump responded by saying "I'm not answering specifically to anybody. I'm saying to anyone that would ask a nasty question like that."
By telling Jiang to "ask China," Trump was referring to the virus's country of origin.
Earlier in the press conference, Trump said, "“I’m not happy with China" when asked about China's alleged hacking.

Jiang had previously tweeted that a White House official had referred to coronavirus as "Kung'Flu" to her face. To this point, she has not provided any evidence for her claim.
This morning a White House official referred to #Coronavirus as the “Kung-Flu” to my face. Makes me wonder what they’re calling it behind my back.
