BREAKING: Trump leaves Walter Reed Medical Center, returns to White House

President Donald Trump was discharged from Walter Reed Medical Center Monday evening after a brief stay, exiting through the golden front doors in presidential style.

Trump had said he would not be taking questions at this time, but a reporter asked how many White House staff had tested positive for the virus, and if the president thought he was a "super spreader."

Heading back to the White House onboard Marine One, Trump returned to continue his duties as commander-in-chief. Then marching steadily up the winding stairway and removing his surgical mask, the president signaled a hearty thumbs up and a patriotic salute before he was greeted by an array of American flags and the familiar lit chandelier inside.

Within the same hour, Trump posted a cinematic video of his legendary comeback, compiling an action-packed sequence as orchestral music overlayed.

Then in a thank you video to Walter Reed's staff, Trump said that he learned a lot first-hand about the coronavirus.

"One thing is for certain: don't let it dominate you," the president told the American people. "We have the best medical equipment. We have the best medicines all developed recently. And you're gonna beat it."

Trump reiterated to not back down to the fears of COVID-19. "We are the greatest country in the world. We're going back to work." He then described that he "stood out front" and led, acknowledging the risk and danger. "Nobody that's a leader would not do what I did."

"And now I'm better. Maybe I'm immune. I don't know," Trump continued, pressing others to resume their daily lives as well.

Dr. Sean Conley, Trump's physician, reported today that the president has "continued to improve" while exceeding all discharge criteria. Trump also received another dose of remdesivir, Conley continued, noting that his oxygen levels are normal and his fever has diminished for more than 72 hours.

"Though he may not be entire out of the woods yet, the team and I agree that all our evaluations and most importantly his clinical status support the president's safe return home where he'll be supported by world class medical care 24/7," Conley concluded.

"THANK YOU all for the prayers and support. The docs have been fantastic and @realDonaldTrump has made tremendous progress since Friday," White House chief of staff Mark Meadows wrote before Trump's departure from the medical center. "He’s in strong spirits, feeling great and as usual he won’t stop working. Thrilled he’s been cleared to return home!"

No plans were outlined for the president to speak to members of the press, according to Bloomberg News senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs.

Marine One arrived moments before the president's leave from the hospital.

Trump announced his 6:30 p.m. release from Walter Reed earlier today in a fiery tweet telling the public that he's "[f]eeling really good" and "[d]on’t be afraid of Covid."

"Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!" The president wrote at the time, exploding leftist minds across the nation who have been wishing death upon the First Family.

Yesterday, Trump's medical team anticipated the president's discharge in an afternoon press briefing.

"If he continues to look and feel as well as he does today, our hope is that we can plan for a discharge as early as tomorrow to the White House where he can continue his treatment course," Dr. Brian Garibaldi stated on camera.

Later on, in a leisurely Sunday drive, the president emerged to greet supporters from his motorcade, chauffeured around in a black SUV as he waved and thanked the crowd gathered outside the hospital every day to send get well soon wishes.

The Secret Service in Trump's detail and the ride were "cleared by the medical team as safe to do" despite baseless criticism from the left claiming that infected particles inside the vehicle could permeate the glass window and contaminate the outside air.

Project Lincoln, the notorious Never Trump group, outlandishly alleged that Trump "willing endangered innocent people in order to feed his small ego," adding that "[h]e will never change."

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19 late Thursday night, vowing to quarantine themselves throughout the recovery process. The president was airlifted via Marine One on Friday evening out of "an abundance of caution."

Before today's release, Trump promised to return to the campaign trail soon. "The Fake News only shows the Fake Polls," he fired on Twitter.
