In a brief statement on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump hinted to supporters that he'll be rallying in Arlington, Virginia, "soon" for Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin ahead of the Nov. 2 election.

"Chanting, 'We love Trump' in Arlington, Va. Thank you, Arlington, see you soon!" Trump said Wednesday in a statement on his website.

It was made as a response to a heckling situation that President Joe Biden faced on Tuesday when he was interrupted by "We Love Trump" chants during a campaign event for fellow Democrat and gubernatorial contender Terry McAuliffe. "Why don't you hang out and talk to me when this is over, okay?" Biden said in response. Biden was seen that night interacting with the crowd completely maskless.

Earlier this month White House press secretary Jen Psaki received a Hatch Act complaint filed by an ethics watchdog group over her remarks during a press conference about Biden backing McAuliffe for the election.

"Virginia loves President Donald J. Trump and his MAGA movement will be delivering a major victory to Trump-endorsed businessman @GlennYoungkin," tweeted Save America comms director Taylor Budowich. "President Trump looks forward to being back in Virginia! Details will be released when appropriate."

"Donald Trump is coming to Virginia to campaign for his handpicked guy Glenn Youngkin. Enough of this MAGA nonsense. We will defeat Trump once again this November!" tweeted McAuliffe after news broke of Trump's potential return.

A related rumor from sports journalist Clay Travis claims Trump will be in Atlanta on Saturday night for game 4 of the World Series. "The 'Let's go Brandon,' chants are going to be raining down like crazy," Travis said of the anti-Biden trend.

Politico's Sam Stein said Biden's popularity rating being as low as it is presents a "real indicator of trouble" and concern for McAuliffe's chances in Virginia. "Democrats are not engaged," Stein noted in an interview.

Loudoun County, Virginia, has been the center point and culture war battleground for recent political tensions as concerned parents are reeling at the discovery that the school board covered up sexual abuse in the school bathrooms.

This situation in part fueled Wendesday's hearings at the federal level as Attorney General Merrick Garland testified about his directive to mobilize the FBI against any potential threats from parents complaining to their school boards.
