According to the organization's website, Power Slap is the world's premier slap-fighting organization, licensed and sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
"What's up everyone," White began in the announcement. "I'm here on the set of Power Slap and I'm excited to announce that Power Slap is joining Rumble. we're bringing exclusive content... as well as the latest news, highlights and behind-the-scenes footage about the competition. We got a lot of big things planned this year, and we can't wait to show you, only available on Rumble."
Power Slap features two contestants who face off, slap for slap. Power Slap features competitors "from across the globe competing on the ultimate stage to showcase their power, technique and resolve," a statement says.
"After testing it, it became clear to us that there's massive potential here as a sport, not unlike the early years of the UFC,” said UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell, via ESPN. "It made all the sense in the world to go toward regulation before the sport's commencing, for all the obvious reasons -- No. 1, the health and safety of the competitors.”
