The White House is reportedly under lockdown tonight as protesters converged on Pennsylvania Avenue to express their outrage and frustration over the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis this weekend.
This is the fourth night of protests that have seen the burning of a police precinct in Minneapolis, among other structures, looting of shops, destruction of vehicles, and numerous arrests. One man was killed during the eruption of violence in Minneapolis, where the inciting incident occurred.

Protesters turned to vandals in Washington, DC, when a man jumped up onto a building to spray paint obscenities in opposition to the president.
This is silmultaneously jarring and heartbreaking. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve filmed protests around the White House, and nothing has ever ever looked like this. https://t.co/1lqXKy0vI9
