On Thursday, after having just recovered from COVID, famous Canadian-born singer Bryan Adams has tested positive again and will once again be undergoing treatment for the virus.
Adams tested positive after landing at the airport in Milan, Italy. "Here I am, just arrived in Milano, and I've tested positive for the second time in a month for Covid. So it's off to the hospital for me. Thanks for all your support," said Adams on his Instagram account, as an ambulance picked him up.
This also will require the 60-year-old Adams to cancel a live appearance that was planned along with an induction ceremony into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame for the 81-year-old iconic performer Tina Turner. Keith Urban will be his substitute for the event, according to People magazine.
Adams, an avowed vegan for some time now, has been famous since the early 1980s, when he burst on the scene with his first hit song, "Cuts like a Knife." However, his fame took on another dimension in the 1990s when his ballads "Everything I Do" and "Please Forgive Me" cemented his reputation as an icon of song worldwide.
Back in May 2020, Adams had previously released a video criticizing China's wet markets, partly from a vegan perspective.
