It was a month ago that Canada Post announced that people would no longer be required to sign for packages at their front doors and that hours would be reduced. This was to enhance safety measures for both postal workers and customers. At this time, the postal service suspended guaranteed shipment dates.
Postal workers are considered essential employees, and have also asked dog owners to keep their animals at bay in order to keep up social distancing measures.
