Career criminal arrested after string of violent beating attacks on Philadelphia women

A career criminal from Brooklyn, New York was arrested in Whitpain Township, Pennsylvania on June 16th for the brutal carjacking of a woman near her workplace.

Human Events Daily's Jack Posobiec pointed out on Twitter that the suspect, Malcolm White, is under investigation for a string of recent violent attacks against women.

On top of the vicious carjacking, White is suspected of stalking, beating, and sexually assaulting one Philadelphia woman and, as The Post Millennial's Editor-at-Large Andy Ngo points out, he's the prime suspect for the beating of three different women on the streets of Philadelphia on June 15th.

According to local news, White was released from prison in January and has a "history of assaulting women prison guards in New York."

The arrest comes after White's brutal attack of a working mother who he ripped from her car and punched repeatedly in the face. The crime happened in the Henkels and McCoy parking lot of the woman's workplace on Jolly Road.

The woman was beaten and choked unconscious but regained lucidity to see White trying to start her car, albeit unsuccessfully.

She was able to describe to the police that a 5' 7" black man wearing a yellow shirt and long pants left the scene on foot. Police subsequently caught White, who fit the description, running down the road from the parking lot. Though White fled, police created a perimeter and deployed K9 units to apprehend him.

The woman took to Facebook to post the bloody pictures of her injuries along with inspirational messages to other victims of violent crime. In one she writes, "words can’t describe the gamete of emotion I feel today: anger, fear, frustration, sadness, 'why me,' and confusion — but the biggest one is that I’m blessed to be here and have hope that my story will prevent, help and change the life of one innocent person today."

The woman's assault is one of many violent crimes against women for which White is under investigation for.

He allegedly stalked a Philadelphia woman after she exited a North Ridge Avenue bus while on her way to work. He's said to have followed her into the vestibule of her workplace where he allegedly physically and sexually assaulted her.

Philadelphia Chief Inspector Frank Vanore said that White took the victim's phone with him which GPS tracked to Whitpain, where he'd been arrested for the assault of the mother.

Vanore also connected White to the vicious attacks of three women on the streets of Philadelphia that was captured on video by a doorbell camera. It's unclear the motivation, but in the video, a black man fitting White's description assaults three women in their late 20s, all who received wounds and lacerations similar to Rothenberger.

White's arrest comes against the backdrop of Philadelphia's descent into record high crime. The city has been plagued by multiple physical and sexual assaults against women, mass shootings, and an epidemic of ubiquitous carjackings.

Posobiec video on June 17 of another ferocious carjacking at a gas station in a Philadelphia suburb saying, "Philly crime is spilling out into the suburbs."

White was arrested after a failed carjacking.

In January of 2022 the Philadelphia police released a guide to surviving carjackings in the city.
