On Tuesday, the founder of Cash App and father of two, 43-year-old Bob Lee, was fatally stabbed in San Francisco and audio from the 911 call made that night reporting the incident has been released.

On the call the 911 dispatcher can be heard relaying information and said, "There's a male screaming 'help,' saying 'someone stabbed me,'" and "advised he is bleeding out," according to the New York Post

"He’s outside on the street," the dispatcher said.

Officers from the San Francisco Police Department responded to the reports of a stabbing and arrived at the 300 block of Main Street in the city's Rincon Hill neighborhood around 2:35 am to find Lee suffering from multiple stab wounds. Medics were called to the scene and Lee was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Video obtained by the Daily Mail shows Lee after the stabbing. With his cellphone in one hand and while bleeding out, the video shows a desperate Lee trying to get help from strangers in a car who then drive away. He then stumbles to an apartment building and rings the intercom seeking aid.

Police have not released details on a suspect and no arrests have been made.

Lee, who was known in the tech world as "Crazy Bob" and was the former chief technology officer at Square, had recently moved to Miami. He was visiting  San Francisco on a business trip and was attacked in an area a friend of Lee's, Jake Shields, said was supposed to be a "good" part of town.

Violent crime has spiked in San Francisco since 2020, including an increase in rapes by 9.5 percent and assault is up 12 percent. Overall crime has increased 7.4 percent in San Francisco compared to 2021.

Twitter owner Elon Musk replied to Shields and said, "Very sorry to hear that. Many people I know have been severely assaulted. Violent crime in SF is horrific and even if attackers are caught, they are often released immediately."
