CBS News has been caught using video footage from a hospital in Italy while reporting on the state of New York hospitals on March 25 according to GatewayPundit. The news station released the footage in a video titled “New York Governor Cuomo pleads for 30,000 ventilators.”
During a Pandemic it is essential that the Media gives us real and accurate information.

It’s completely irresponsible for @CBSNews to use footage from an Italian Hospital when talking about the outbreak in New York City.
This is unacceptable. pic.twitter.com/Essp4uEHle
The decision to use the Italian hospital footage has upset many people from all over the political spectrum, including some who feel the news station should issue an apology.
I don’t understand why the mainstream media feels the need to steal hospital footage from Italy and make it seem like it’s in New York. Our job fighting misinformation is already hard enough as it is. CBS should issue an apology and a detailed explanation about how this happened.

The footage was originally released by SkyNews on March 22 showing the state of the main hospital in Bergamo, Italy—one of the hardest hit locations in the country amid the coronavirus outbreak.
