A Cincinnati Daycare worker is being charged with assaulting a preschool-age girl after the incident was caught on camera. According to FOX 10, James Ciolino was fired from the Wilde Kingdom Early Learning Center for assaulting the child in June.

Additionally, a woman is also facing charges of child endangerment. In the video, Jennifer Miller can be seen bringing the little girl to Ciolino, who then shoves her to the ground. Miller witnesses the assault and the child crying on the floor but seemingly ignores the incident and shuts the door.

Most disturbingly, the video shows James Ciolino singing a "good morning" song with preschoolers while he assaults the little girl.

More than three months later, the family is struggling to forget the incident. "They just pushed her away like an animal. A little baby...all she knows in life is how to play, eat and sleep," said the little girl's mother in an interview with FOX 10.

Lisa McMillion is the director of Wilde Kingdom Early Learning Center, where the incident took place and says the video itself has "all the truth it needs in it."

"So as soon as you see that, you know immediately what has to be done," McMillion told WKRC. She fired both teachers and reported them to the police.

Both defendants are pleading not guilty and are set to go on trial on December 3, 2021.
