Torontonians will be flocking to the parks for Canada Day on Wednesday, however this City of Toronto has issued a reminder via their Twitter account that alcohol is prohibited while in parks, at beaches or public spaces.

The main relevant liquor offences that would apply to residents celebrating the nation's birthday are possessing an open liquor container without a permit, providing liquor to someone who is underage and to consume liquor while out in public. Each of the three offences come with a $300 fine.
Of course, who could forget, being intoxicated in public will also come with a $50 fine, in addition to any of the other aforementioned fines if applicable.
