During South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s speech at CPAC on Friday, the leader took aim at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the recent freezing of freedom protest attendee’s bank accounts.

Noem started by discussing how the National School Board Association worked with the White House to get the FBI to investigate parents who spoke out against critical race theory teachings.

She also pointed to the recent revelations from John Durham that revealed the Clinton campaign paid a tech company to spy on the Trump Campaign, as well as a British spy.

"If they can do that to the President of the United States, they can do that to me and my family," said Noem.

"If you think cancel culture is bad right now, wait until they force financial institutions into freezing your accounts because of something you said on Facebook," she continued.

Noem elaborated that she’s not just talking about China, but countries like Canada as well.

"It’s already happening in the world, and I’m not just talking about Communist China’s social credit system. I’m talking about Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, and the Emergencies Act he passed," she said, which was met with overwhelming boos from the crowd.

"Trudeau froze truckers’ bank accounts and canceled insurance on trucks. He used antiterrorism finance laws to cover crowdfunding platforms like GiveSendGo," Noem continued.

"This is why the founders gave us the constitution in the first place," she added, in respect to the United States of America.

"They knew that human nature has a dark side that craves power."

Noem also stressed the need for American energy independence, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and the Keystone XL Pipeline being cancelled last year.

Noem launched into a number of points laid out in a Twitter thread this morning, where she stressed that Biden needs to expedite the Keystone Xl Pipeline, reopen areas to oil and natural gas drilling and expeditions, and reinforce American energy productions.

She also stressed working with European partners to replace Russian energy with American energy, and to hit Russian President Vladimir Putin "where it actually hurts" by enacting sanctions on the Russian energy sector.

"If Joe Biden can’t, or he won’t do these things, then he should resign," said Noem. "He should resign before his weak leadership and poor decision making drags America back into another needless war."
