According to his Facebook page, Kelly hosted the conference on Zoom in June 2020, with AZTYPO president Tami Stass and other LGBTQ+ activists.
According to an archive of AZTYPO's website, which is now out-of-service, Staas is a public school teacher with two transgender-identifying children of her own.
"In addition to her activist work, she is the mother of two children; one who identifies as a trans man, and the other who identifies as non-binary. She earns her living as a third-grade teacher at Summit Academy International Baccalaureate School in Mesa Public Schools.”
According to the archive, the organization is a "support group for families with gender diverse children," and supportive of the Mothers/Parents in Transition group, a movement that is "dedicated to supporting parents of transgender/gender-expansive children in custody disputes with unsupportive ex-partners."
The senator's summit also included Lizette Trujillo, a far-left gender ideology activist who openly admitted to giving puberty blockers to her eight-year-old, who she says has been transgender since age two.
The exposure of this meeting, reported by Breitbart, comes as Kelly desperately tries to hold on to his Senate seat by portraying himself as a moderate against Trump-endorsed Republican candidate Blake Masters.
According to RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, Kelly "likes to pretend he's a moderate everyman in a black t-shirt who aligns with Arizona voters."
Kelly's is one of the three Democrat-held tossup Senate seats, according to the Cook Political Report. The others are Sen. Raphael Warnock's Georgia seat and Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto's seat.
