Keith believes that it is the job of the highest executive office in the land to ban FoxNews, Newsmax, and OANN from being broadcast in any federally owned building or military installation.

Attorney Pam Keith, who was the Democratic nominee for Florida's 18th Congressional district, was formerly US Navy JAG officer, and claims to be a litigator & expert on workplace law, believes fully that the President of the United States should censor and remove news channels that she doesn't like.

Keith, who yes, is a lawyer, was in the military, and believed herself suitable to serve as an elected representative in Congress, believes that it is the job of the highest executive office in the land to ban FoxNews, Newsmax, and OANN from being broadcast in any federally owned building or military installation.

She writes: "One of Biden’s first Executive Orders should be to prohibit the airing of FoxNews, Newsmax or OANN in any federally owned property or any military unit or installation, and to remove it from any cable plans that are offered in government owned business or housing complexes."

And Keith is not the only one who is steadfast in her determination that the federal branch of government should censor the news when it displeases them, in direct violation of the First Amendment.

Her reasoning is that American troops are absorbing this content. She wrote that "It is absolutely CRITICAL to good order & discipline, and national security that we STOP allowing our troops to passively absorb the incessant LIES & radicalization of FoxNews, OANN and NewsMax. It’s entirely executive discretion to have them banned from all federal properties"

Oliver Darcy, of CNN, shared Keith's view, saying that those providers of broadband service should disallow these news networks on their platforms.

There have been a spate of calls to silence conservative voices during the past few months of 2020, with the most notable censure coming from social media platforms, which banned President Donald Trump in the last few days of his administration.

Social media app Parler, which appealed to conservatives due to its insistence on being a free speech platform, was banned not only from Apple and Google app stores, but was removed from Amazon's servers.
