"Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage complained about the presence of dwarfs as characters in Disney princess Snow White's resurrected story earlier this week. But now Disney has come out and said they'll be receptive to the feedback of the "dwarfism community" for their upcoming live-action remake.

"To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community. We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period," a Disney spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive report Tuesday.
According to the comments made during comedian Marc Maron's Monday podcast, the 52-year-old actor with achondroplasia believes that the premise of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" is "backwards" to the apparent progressive vibe that the franchise has been giving off in recent years.
Dinklage made it clear that he meant "literally no offense to anyone" and respected those involved with the upcoming adaptation of the beloved Disney story.
As for who is expected to star in the Snow White remake, the title role has gone to actress Rachel Zegler. Marc Webb is set to direct, and Gal Godot was cast as the evil queen antagonist, with production slated to begin in 2022.
Dinklage was a member of a recent roundtable discussion moderated by The Hollywood Reporter. When the topic of the Alec Baldwin "Rust" on-set shooting came up, acclaimed actor Nicolas Cage remarked about how actors and actresses in the industry "need to know how to use a gun" while at work.
The most recent movie coming out featuring Dinklage is "Cyrano." It's set to premiere in theaters on Jan. 28th in the US, and Feb. 25 in the UK.
