Elon Musk’s 18-year-old son Xavier Musk has filed to change his gender to female and his legal name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, dropping Musk’s last name. Xavier is one of Musk’s five children from his ex-wife Justine Wilson.

The paperwork filed on April 18th of this year was obtained by Daily Mail from the Superior Court of California, and confirmed Xavier’s petition for the changes. Musk’s son stated the reason for the name and gender change to be that he “no longer live[s] with or wish[es] to be related to [his] biological father in any way, shape or form.”

Musk has openly joked about those who put pronouns in their bio and been outspoken about innate biological differences between the sexes.

Musk's opinions on pronouns haven't only affected his relationship with his son Xavier, but his former partner who he has two other children with as well. After Musk tweeted, "Pronouns suck," his former partner and popstar Grimes publicly replied to Musk in a now-deleted tweet saying, “I love you but please turn off ur phone[...] I cannot support hate."

On June 11 of this year, Musk tweeted "We are simultaneously being told that gender differences do not exist and that genders are so profoundly different that irreversible surgery is the only option. Perhaps someone wiser than me can explain this dichotomy." It’s unclear whether Musk’s son, Xavier, has or will undergo gender transition therapy or surgery to match his new female identity.

Underpinning Musk’s criticisms of radical gender theory have been accusations by the LGBTQ+ community that the tech mogul is "transphobic," pointing to his support of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for president in 2024.

DeSantis himself has had accusations from the far-left of being transphobic and homophobic after legislation banning biological men from competing against women in sports and the infamous bill dubbed by radical leftists as the "Don’t Say Gay Bill," which prohibits talks of sexuality in elementary classrooms.

Despite the relationship woes with his own kids, Musk has been a staunch supporter of increasing the rapidly declining birth rates by having many children. His pinned tweet is a post about the declining birth rates which includes several replies from himself claiming it’s the "sterilization" of society.

Musk’s political leanings have been under the microscope after his bid to buy Twitter. Earlier this morning, Twitter’s board approved Musk’s $44 million offer to buy the social media giant after months of pushback from Twitter employees and executives. Last Thursday, Project Veritas leaked hundreds of messages from Twitter employees that were sent during a company-wide meeting in which Musk spoke where employees were outraged that the entrepreneur used the phrase "all lives matter."

While many opponents of Musk claim he wants Twitter to amplify right-wing ideas, Musk has been clear that he wants Twitter to remain "politically neutral" to regain public trust.

Elon Musk has yet to comment on his son’s disownment or request to change his name and gender.
