EXCLUSIVE: Suspect in fatal shooting of Temple cop a student at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology

An email obtained by The Post Millennial reveals that Miles Pfeffer, who has been charged in the shooting death of Temple police officer Christopher Fitzgerald is currently enrolled in high school at the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, in Bucks County, PA.

The email, which is marked as "privileged and confidential," was sent to staff and faculty at the school.

"We wanted to advise you of some informaiton that we were made aware of this morning," it reads. "We are monitoring the news regarding the Temple University police officer. As of right now, the suspect that is in custody and names as a person of interest matches that of one of our MBIT students.

"We know that many of you know this student or have students who know him, and this information is extremely upsettting."

Pfeffer is currently enrolled in the school's welding program.

The school describes its programs as providing a "blend of theory work in the classroom, technical applications in the state-of-the-art laboratories, and off-campus work-based experiences."

"MBI operates as a school of choice designs for students who are seekign to enhance their educations program with highly relevant career and technical experience, connected directly to their unique career goals."

18-year-old Miles Pfeffer was arrested as a person of interest on Sunday in connection to the fatal shooting of Temple University police officer Christopher Fitzgerald on Saturday. He arrested in Buckingham Township, in Bucks County, Penn. and was transferred back to Philadelphia by police. 



Pfeffer was charged with murder, murder of a law enforcement officer, robbery, carjacking, firearm offenses, possession of an instrument of crime, and related offenses. He will not be eligible for bail, per the DA's office.



Pfeffer's Instagram shows the suspect posing while holding cash and riding dirt bikes. The account has since been made private.
