According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the fight occurred around 2:30 pm in front of the 100th anniversary sign in Disney World's Magic Kingdom park when a family reportedly asked a larger family standing in front of the sign to move over so they could take a picture, Fox News reports.
After the smaller family asked the larger family to move aside, someone from the larger family threw a blow, resulting in an all-out brawl between the two families, according to the sheriff's office.
A bystander filming the chaotic scene which has since gone viral on social media can be heard saying behind the camera to another individual, "Did you see how it broke out? I was just walking right here, and I saw it just happening."
The video shows both men and women in the two families throwing multiple blows at each other, which caused some of them to fall on the ground. Women in the larger group wearing white "Mickey Mouse" tank tops can be seen frantically carrying their small children away from the scene after they threw punches at the other family.
One person was injured in the fight and was treated at the scene, while two people belonging to the larger family were kicked out of the theme park.
The two families declined to press charges.
In 2022, Disney issued a statement warning against unruly behavior at its California and Florida theme park locations following an increase in violence.
"Be the magic you want to see," Disney wrote, along with a stark warning that violence won't be tolerated.
