On Monday, FBI and ATF agents were seen removing additional rifles from the family home of Nashville Christian school shooter Audrey Hale.

According to the Daily Mail, the two rifles taken from the home were in addition to the two rifles and a handgun that Hale was armed with upon entering the school on Monday morning.

Nashville Police Chief John Drake said on Monday that Hale had legally purchased the three weapons used in the shooting, which resulted in the deaths of three 9-year-old students and three staff members.

According to the New York Post, seven firearms were legally purchased by Hale.

Drake revealed that Hale’s parents told investigators they only knew about one of the firearms, and believed that Hale had sold it before the shooting.

"Her parents felt she should not own weapons … they were under the impression that when she sold the one weapon that she did not own any more," Drake added.

"As it turned out, she had been hiding several weapons within the house."

Drake also revealed that Hale was "under care, doctor’s care, for an emotional disorder," adding that the police "knew nothing about the treatment she was receiving."

One source close to the family revealed that Hale was autistic but "high functioning."

On the day of the shooting, hale’s mother told detectives that she had seen Hale leaving the house with a red bag and asked what was in it. hale was dismissive of the question, and Hale’s mother added that she didn’t think to look in the bag because she believed Hale didn’t own any more firearms at the time.

Hale entered the Covenant School on Monday morning, and was killed by officers 14 minutes after they arrived. Drake thanked the responding officers for their quick actions, saying that their speed saved additional lives.

Hale gunned down three nine-year-old children, Evelyn Cieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, as well as custodian Mike Hill, 61, substitute teacher Cynthia Peak, 61, and school head Katherine Koonce, 60.
