In the weeks since a Supreme Court opinion draft was leaked hinting that Roe v. Wade may be overturned, numerous pro-life organizations and religious institutions have been targeted by pro-abortion activists and militants.
With no end to the attacks in sight, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has begun looking into the issue. The leaderless, anonymous group Jane's Revenge has taken responsibility for the attacks.
In a statement sent to The Daily Wire, the bureau said they are "investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country."
"The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities," they added.
Pro-abortion militant group Jane's Revenge has taken responsibility for the attacks in Madison WI, Ft. Collins CO, Reisertown MA, Olympia WA, Des Moines IA, Lynwood WA, Washington DC, Ashville NC, Buffalo NY, Hollywood FL, Vancouver WA, Frederick MA, Denton TX, Gresham OR, Eugene OR, and Portland OR.
"From here forward," they said earlier this week, "any anti-choice group who closes their doors, and stops operating will no longer be a target. But until you do, it's open season, and we know where your operations are."
They went on to promise that "increasingly drastic measures" will be taken, and added that via the attacks, they "find joy, courage, and strip the veneer of impenetrability held by these violent institution."
The attacks have garnered criticism from many, while others, including President Joe Biden, have remained silent on the issue.
"This radical group that is threatening terrorist conduct ... at pregnancy centers," said Sen. Ted Cruz during an interview with FOX News. "These radicals claim to be pro-woman, but apparently they don't want to help a mom who's pregnant with a child actually give birth to the child."
Those opposed to the overturning of Roe v. Wade have resorted to increasingly more radical tactics. Earlier this month, an armed man was arrested outside Brett Kavanaugh's house. He told police he was "upset" about the proposed ruling, and had intentions to kill the conservative Supreme Court justice.
