Ontario Premier Doug Ford spoke to the president of Pfizer Canada after it was announced by the Trudeau Liberals that vaccines would see a complete drop in vaccine shipments next week.
In a statement, Ford said that Pfizer Canada President Cole Pinnow "reiterated the serious impact these cancelled shipments will have on Ontario and sought answers as to why Canada isn’t receiving vaccines as quickly as other countries."

“The premier will continue to do whatever he can to support the federal government in ensuring that Ontario gets the supply we need as we continue to build capacity and vaccinate as many Ontarians as quickly as humanly possible," the statement continues.
During Tuesday's press conference, Ford said he was frustrated with the prime minister, saying that if he were prime minister, he'd "be up that guy’s ying-yang so far with a firecracker he wouldn’t know what hit him."

Another unforgettable quote from Ford.

On Tuesday, Liberal Minister Anita Anand dodged questions on whether the prime minister had called the Pfizer CEO.
Procurement Minister @AnitaOakville says she's in constant contact with Pfizer about the delay of their COVID-19 vaccine, but was unable to confirm whether Prime Minister Trudeau has spoken directly to the CEO of Pfizer. #cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/UYpLzOomvu
