A British gay YouTuber and activist who goes by the name "Mr Menno" has made waves in LGBTQ+ circles with a new video entitled "Y Chromosome (YMCA Parody) - The XY People." In the video, Mr Menno played clips of biological males claiming to be real women, and sang his own lyrics to the tune of the famous Village People song.

"In a great act of deception, they spread around the lie; that there's no meaningful difference between XX and XY," the song begins, with Mr Menno narrating over a black screen with a strand of DNA in the background. Then, clips of several transgender influencers are shown.

"We need to get rid of the idea that trans women are men, because we are not," says male YouTuber Stef Sanjati, who identifies as transgender.

Gigi Gorgeous, another transgender YouTuber, is showed saying "My choice to be a woman, makes me more 'woman' than a lot of women out there."

Dylan Mulvaney, who is best known for documenting the transition from being an adult man to what they call "girlhood" on TikTok, says "This is the beauty of being a woman and having curves," while gesturing to their body. Then the video transitions to show five Mr Mennos, dressed as members of the hit disco group, Village People.

The verse begins: "Young man, why'd you think that you'd pass? I said young man! Have you been smoking grass? I said young man! You're in your own sex class And you'll never be a woman Young man! So you're wearing a dress? I said young man! But we aren't impressed I said young man! Everybody can guess that you're not an actual woman"

While the song was performed by Mr Menno with choreographed dance moves, more clips of trans-identified males played in the background to go along with the lyrics.

The chorus went: "I guess it must be that Y chromosome Can't get away from that Y chromosome It's in every cell, it's in your DNA And you can't make it go away It's plain to see it's that Y chromosome You're male because of that Y chromosome It has made you a man It determined your sex And you can't change it to an 'x'"

During an interlude after the second verse of the song, a clip from "Piers Morgan Uncensored," was spliced with more commentary from transgender influencers.

"A woman is a female, and the female is defined by the genes," says British scientist and medical doctor, Professor Robert Winston to the television host.

A clip of Gigi Gorgeous stating she wants to "be female," played after that, followed by Winston saying "She has 2 'X' chromosomes."

"Trans women are women," Stef Sanjati is shown saying, followed by the professor hitting back with "A male has specific masculine genes, which make us different from women."

Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympian reality TV star formerly known as Bruce Jenner, was also shown in the video saying "For all intents and purposes, I am a woman."

Mr Menno then sings: "I guess you're stuck with that Y chromosome You're out of luck with that Y chromosome Mother nature's a TERF, and she's keeping it real This is not about how you feel So get to grips with that Y chromosome Accept the truth of that Y chromosome And don't get so upset when we're able to tell That you're not a mademoiselle"

The video, posted Thursday, comes after an actual YMCA facility made headlines for banning an elderly woman who demanded a biological male to leave the women's locker room where little girls were undressing.

Amy E. Sousa, psychologist and content creator who is critical of transgender theory, commended Mr Menno for the video, decrying the ban of 80-year-old Julie Jaman.

This isn't the first time Mr Menno has made headlines with his attention-grabbing parody songs. In February 2021, the content creator was lambasted by far-left LGBTQ+ website Pink News for creating a "sea shanty" song for the gender-critical organization LGB Alliance, which advocates for disconnecting transgenderism from the gay rights movement.
