Conservative comedian and Fox News' late night show host Greg Gutfeld is quickly placing himself among the most viewed late shows. Gutfeld! has now officially overtaken Colbert's 'Late Show' in viewership despite only debuting in April.

Yahoo News reports on Tuesday night, "Gutfeld!" took in a total average of 2.120 million viewers, with 434,000 in the advertiser-coveted age demographic of 25 to 54. On the other hand, Colbert's show got an average of 1.896 million total viewers, of whom 423,000 were in the demo. Gutfeld also beat Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show," which had 1.216 million total viewers, on average, and 354,000 in the demo.

Unlike other late night shows, Gutfeld also competes with other programs, such as MSNBC's "The 11th Hour with Brian Williams" and CNN's "Don Lemon Tonight." Gutfeld! has always managed to overtake late night rivals in both comedy and news but has always come short of surpassing Stephen Colbert.

It now seems the conservative comedian has officially dethroned Colbert as the ratings king of late night television. This has been a vocal goal of Gutfeld since he began his anti cancel culture show in April.
