Homer Simpson's age has finally been revealed, thanks to some mega fans who discovered an image of Homer's driver's license from an old episode, according to Daily Mail.

On Tuesday, Homer Simpson turned 64-years-old, as per his driver's license which reveals his birth date to be May 12, 1956.

The Simpsons is currently in the tail end of its 31st season and will be gearing up for season 32 in the fall, which airs on FOX.

When the show first began in 1989, Homer was aged 33-years-old and miraculously, hasn't aged a bit in the time that has past since.

Birthday: As The Simpsons wind down their 31st season on Fox and prepare for their 32nd, fans have discovered Homer Simpson's actual birthday, which fell on Tuesday

Marge Simpson, Homer's wife, is expected to be somewhere around the same age range as well, although it has never been revealed.

Based off Homer's driver's license, that would make his son, Bart Simpson, 41-years-old in 2020, and his daughter, Lisa Simpson, would be 39-years-old.

Fortunately for the cartoon characters, they will never have to age the way their fans do. The series has already garnered the record for longest running primetime series in television history back in 2018 with the airing of their 636th episode. That release surpassed the previous longest-running show, Gunsmoke, which aired for 20 seasons from 1955-1975 and producing a total of 635 episodes.

The Simpsons got its start running as animated shorts on The Tracy Ullman Show before getting its own primetime slot in 1989, making it the first primetime animated show since Wait Till Your Father Comes Home (aired 1972-1974).

It was a commercial success almost overnight, and a good thing for the FOX network which was struggling for viewership at the time.

Since its inception, The Simpsons has gathered a reputation for being able to predict the future, even in a recently making headlines when an old episode resurfaced from 1993 whereby a virus called the Osaka Flu, travelled from Japan to the U.S. and was plaguing Springfield, only to be followed up by swarms of killer bees. A nod to the current situation of the coronavirus pandemic and the recent news of murder hornets.

A fan tweeted out that The Simpsons predicted 2020 and one writer of the cartoon, Bill Oakley agreed with them, retweeting and saying, "ok fine i guess we did."

In a 2000 episode of The Simpsons, they predicted that Donald Trump would become President, something to think about.
