Amid resurfaced controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's lucrative overseas business dealings, it's been revealed that President Joe Biden's son also often paid for family expenses, according to another bombshell New York Post report.

Text messages on Hunter's notorious "laptop from hell" show that he kicked back as much as 50 percent of his earnings to his dad, the New York Post reported.

"I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years," Hunter said to his daughter Naomi in January 2019. "It's really hard. But don't worry, unlike pop, I won't make you give me half your salary."

Pop refers to Joe Biden. Naomi publicly called the president the term of endearment as recent as April 4, thanking her grandfather and First Lady Jill Biden for the opportunity to celebrate her upcoming wedding at the White House.

According to the New York Post, the laptop doesn't contain direct evidence of the suspected money transfers, but its contents show that Hunter was often expected to pay for his father's household expenses when Joe Biden was vice president.

However, the expenses are outlined in an email to Hunter from business partner Eric Schwerin on June 5, 2010, entitled "JRB Bills," referencing Joe Biden's initials. The correspondence was related to the upkeep of Joe Biden's lakefront residence in the affluent Greenville community of Wilmington, Delaware.

Expenses included $1,239 in repairs for an air conditioner at "mom-mom's cottage," $1,475 paid to a painter for "back wall and columns at the lake house," and $2,600 for fixing a "stone retaining wall at the lake" and $475 "for shutters."

In an email five days later, Schwerin said he received Joe Biden's "Delaware tax refund check," which suggests he had personal access to the vice president's finances, the New York Post noted. Schwerin served as president of Hunter's infamous Chinese-linked investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners.

There are also records showing Joe Biden sometimes reimbursed Hunter, per the New York Post. "I am depositing it in his account and writing a check in that amount back to you since he owes it to you. Don't think I need to run it by him, but if you want to go ahead," Schwerin wrote in electronic communications.

In a July 6, 2010, email titled "JRB Future Memo," Schwerin said he was in touch with Joe Biden about personal finances and "future earnings potential."

"Your Dad just called me (about his mortgage) and mentioned he'd be out a lot soon and not really back until Labor Day … He could use some positive news about his future earnings potential," Schwerin wrote in the message.
