A new report has revealed that President Joe Biden was named in a 2017 email discovered on the infamous Hunter Biden laptop discussing a multi-million dollar gas deal with China.

Hunter Biden and his uncle, Joe Biden, were brokering a deal to supply up to 25 million tons of gas from Louisiana to the Asian nation on behalf of Chinese energy giant CEFC, their business partners at the time, according to the Daily Mail.

During this time, Joe Biden had completed his term as Obama's vice president and had not yet announced any plans to run for the top job in 2020.

The Daily Mail reports that Baton Rouge-based lawyer Robert Fenet, who was on the Louisiana side of the deal, wrote in an email dated October 27, 2017, that he had arranged "a call from Joe Biden and Hunter Biden on Monday morning to discuss the purchase of the 5 million tons of gas."

"While it's possible the Baton Rouge lawyer, Robert Fenet, mistyped 'Joe' instead of 'Jim,' other emails and whistleblower testimony suggest Joe was involved in Hunter's business dealings with the Chinese," the Daily Mail reported.

That aforementioned "call" that Fenet was setting up was with Texas energy company Cheniere, whose executives have close ties with the president and his political campaigns over the years, including his successful presidential run.

In an earlier email with Fenet, Joe's brother Jim Biden emphasized the "family" involvement in the project.

"We Biden's often fraught with problems, that they can can [sic] come from working with family members, are of a different mind. It's all about family, and people we choose to do business with," he wrote in an email to Fenet dated October 19, 2017.

The next day, an email from Fenet laid out one proposal for his liquid natural gas (LNG) deal with the Bidens and the Chinese energy company CEFC.

"The Ashton Fenet and Sons Construction Company, Inc. will, in a joint venture with a Louisiana company, provide a 25 year natural gas-LNG supply to your group," he wrote. "We can begin supplying LNG in 2018 at the rate of three, four, five, or six million metric tons of LNG on a five year basis. From year five until year twenty-five, we will have the capacity to supply 13 million metric tons per annum of LNG to the Port in China. (To Be Decided)"

"If your client will purchase a twenty-five year stream of LNG, I can build the plant for $12 billion dollars," he added.

The following month, Hunter wrote to CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming encouraging the LNG deal with Louisiana, adding that he was "making inquiries regarding arranging a meeting for you with the Chairman of Cheniere."

However, Cheniere signed a long-term deal with China National Petroleum Corp, another energy firm, to supply gas to China. This deal took place during then-president Donald Trump's state visit to the country.

The Biden deal eventually collapsed after the CEFC Chairman and his right-hand man were arrested for bribery and corruption.

The president continues to deny having ever discussed his son's business dealings, despite evidence from Hunter's abandoned laptop suggesting otherwise.

There are multiple emails and text messages that have been discovered that refer to Joe Biden as the "big guy."

Hunter Biden's former business partner turned-whistleblower Tony Bobulinski has also shared details about Joe Biden's involvement, providing text messages as evidence.
