Jill Biden says voting will make 'this pandemic go away' in official party tweet—will Twitter label it misinformation?

Not only is this a spurious and obviously false claim, but Twitter censors have allowed the missive from the Democrats to stand thus far unchallenged.

Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, has claimed that voting will make "this pandemic go away." Not only is this a spurious and obviously false claim, but Twitter censors have allowed the missive from the Democrats to stand thus far unchallenged. At the same time, Twitter flags funny memes tweeted by Trump as problematic.

Misinformation like this is exactly why Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and his platform have created so many policies to combat factual errors, especially when they come from an "expert" source such as the potentially ascendant first lady. Yet, here it is.

The quote from Dr. Biden reads "If you want change in your life, if you want this pandemic to go away so that you can go back to school and back to work, and have good health, you have to vote. It's crucial."

This obviously misleading quote equates submitting a ballot to choose a presidential candidate to ending the pandemic, changing your life, opening schools and workplaces, and creating good health. It simply doesn't make any sense.

In fact, it reads almost like a hostage note, where one could assume from Dr. Biden's message that a vote for her husband will lead us back to the good old days when there was no pandemic scourge sweeping the earth.

Anyone with eyes and even the most simplistic concept of logic can see that there is no presidential candidate that would be able to stop a global plague, not even if a doctor tells us it is so.
