'This is intentional': Jim Jordan tells Dinesh D'Souza the Biden admin is creating chaos on purpose

“And frankly Dinesh, I don’t know how any rational person can reach any other conclusion than this is intentional.”

Back on Friday Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio sat down for a discussion about the current state of affairs in the Biden administration.

The (newest) situation at the southern border was what drove their initial interest, but the conversation transitions into how the Biden administration’s failings on multiple fronts will cause whiplash for Democrats when it comes time for midterms.

D’Souza opened up by asking Jordan about the US - Mexico border situation. He thought Trump’s "Remain in Mexico" policy being somewhat upheld was a definitive moment for this year’s migrant crisis.

But with last week’s Del Rio debacle where thousands of Haitian migrants showed up, Dinesh wanted to know why the Biden administration’s current status quo on the matter continued.

"Well they’re just sending the wrong message," Jordan said. "I mean so much of this is about the message sent from the oval office, the message sent from the White House. When you tell the whole world ‘we’re really not going to follow’ even though they had this court decision…. ‘We’re not going to keep the remain in Mexico policy in place, we’re not going to build the wall, we’re not going to deport anyone.’ When you send that message and that’s in fact what you’re doing, people come, and obviously we’re seeing it."

It was earlier this year that Vice President Kamala Harris did say "do not come" to America to the people of Guatemala.

"And frankly Dinesh, I don’t know how any rational person can reach any other conclusion than this is intentional," Jordan concluded.

Jim Jordan mentioned the statistics for US - Mexico border crossings and how they climbed higher and higher: over 172,000 in March, 178,622 in April, 180,034 in May, 188,829 in June, 212,672 in July.

"We now have what Secretary Clinton campaigned on in 2016, we have a borderless hemisphere. And for Mayorkas to say the border is secure when we see with our own eyes what’s going on… Americans don’t appreciate it, and it’s why you see so much frustration from the American people about this issue, and frankly a host of others."

Dinesh D'Souza responded to Jordan’s thoughts by saying if the US Government is aware of the public’s thoughts and feelings, they must see the dissatisfaction on their part. He asked Jim Jordan why the Biden administration seems to be going ahead with their immigration policy as it stands anyway?

The congressman from Ohio thinks that the immigration situation is one of the reasons for President Biden’s low approval rating. But regardless, Jordan says the White House’s thinking is they "can’t do what Trump did" on anything.

"We went from a secure border to chaos in less than nine months," said Jordan. "We went from peace in the Middle East to rockets being fired on Israel in less than nine months. We went from energy independence to the President of the United States begging OPEC to increase production in less than nine months. Everything they touch has been terrible."

When it came to the issue of Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, Jim Jordan is sure Americans will remember that too when midterm election season arrives next year.

On Monday, President Biden made it clear his current focus is on the infrastructure bills being debated on Capitol Hill in DC. "As long as we're still alive, we've got 3 things to do: the debt ceiling, continuing resolution, and the two pieces of legislation."
