Shortly after leaving her position in the Liberal cabinet as the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Jody Wilson-Raybould took a trip to a senior home to distribute valentines day cards to former servicemen.

The visit to George Derby Centre, a senior care home, was planned while she was still in her cabinet position.

Wilson-Raybould was replaced by an interim Minister of Veterans Affairs Harjit Sajjan.

The former minister did this all while embroiled in the largest political scandal the Liberal government has yet to see.

While there, Wilson-Raybould spent an estimated two and a half hours speaking to the 40 veterans there.
