Joe Biden said that he still believes the allegations against his son, Hunter, are a "smear campaign" and "Russian disinformation," at a press conference Tuesday.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Biden if he still thought that the investigation into his son's foreign business affairs was part of a "Russian disinformation" agenda.
Biden lashed out, annoyed by the question, saying, "Yes, yes, yes, God love you man. You’re a one horse pony, I tell you," Biden responded.
An FBI investigation has been ongoing, reportedly since 2018, into the foreign business dealings and tax affairs of Hunter Biden, The Post Millennial has previously reported.
Republicans have honed in on Hunter's relationship to Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings as well as to Chinese companies. Biden has referred in the past to accusations against his son as a "desperate smear campaign."
"This is the same garbage Rudy Giuliani, Trump's henchman, it's a last-ditch effort in this desperate campaign to smear me and my family," Biden told WISN 12 News.
Biden added afterwards that he would not interfere with the determinations of his justice department regarding his son's case.
"I promise you, my Justice Department will be totally on its own making its judgments about how they should proceed," he said.
During the press conference, Biden also claimed that the fight against COVID-19 will get worse before it gets better.
"Here is the simple truth," Biden started. "Our darkest days against COVID are ahead of us, not behind us.".
